Well, my first adventure awaits. I’m waiting on the bus to catch the train to Tuggerah and turning to The Entrance for a two night stay at The Lakes Hotel.

Hopefully the time away will bring some peace after taking calls for the Department of Justice. There were so many delightful calls: people who didn’t know their name, dates of birth, wanting weekend access to the pet rabbit.

Had an unremarkable trip up the coast, but I always love the trip around the Hawkesbury River.

The sound of the bellbirds at Tuggerah Station whilst waiting for the bus is lovely to hear; the wind blowing through the trees always brings me peace. The trees are almost saying, “Hey. I’m here waving hello.”

The beautiful things you see. On the bus to The Entrance and have just spotted a beautiful golden labrador guide dog, sitting patiently until it’s his stop. We don’t realise how much we rely on animals not only as a companion, but literally being your eyes.
