Life seems to get away….

I always seem to forget that I have this site. It’s been sitting in the background, waiting. Waiting for me to come back and post.

So much has happened since my last posts, I can’t even remember what has happened.

I have gone back to the library world, having been working in a school library for a year and a half now in Blacktown, NSW. I can honestly say that I hated working in contact centres. The burnout is terrible. If you’re reading this – DON’T accept a job in contact centres if you value your sanity.

I have started – as a side project – to look at famous cases of family homicide in Australia; what happened and where those who lost their lives are buried.

My first “case” is that of Caroline Grills – Aunt Thally – who went on trial and was found guilty of murder. State Records of NSW have a copy of the trial which has been of wonderful resource, but a lot of reading.
